Wink to Introduce Adjustable Anvil Cylinder

 

CHARLOTTE, NC | Wink, a supplier of die-cutting tools for the graphic industries, will launch the adjustable anvil cylinder GapControl in North America at Labelexpo Americas 2014, September 9–11, at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL. 

The GapControl is said to permit a highly precise, double-sided adaption of the gap (and thus the liner strike) for various applications and materials. The reported advantages include high stability, which makes cutting-through possible without any problems, even at high production speeds.

At the show company will also feature the ultra-hard MCR coating for flexible dies is said to increase the tools’ durability, especially when die-cutting very abrasive (thermal) materials in long runs.

Booth will also highlight special versions and finishings of company’s SuperCut flexible dies for all types of label applications. One of the variants is the ProShift technology for staggered die-cutting, called an ideal solution for blank labels.
