IDEAlliance Presents TechWeek Training Event

ALEXANDRIA, VA | IDEAlliance, the industry association for media production technologies, announced that attendee registration is strong for TechWeek, a week-long event series featuring the G7 Forum, TechConference 2012, and XTech seminars. Slated for March 12–16 at the Embassy Suites O'Hare Hotel in Rosemont, IL, the conference offers a mix of educational sessions, hands-on computer labs, and networking opportunities for media production professionals.

The event begins with a free networking event for the hundreds of certified G7 Experts and G7 Professionals, and those employed by G7 Master Qualified facilities. Following the G7 Forum, the TechConference brings together premedia's best to debate the most pressing subjects in color, content, workflow, and pre-production management and technologies. TechWeek wraps up with XTech 2012, featuring a series of in-depth tutorials on emerging XML-based technologies that are driving the future of digital media production.

Learning Labs will offer process control and hands-on skills training on computer workstations, lead by our industry's leading color and workflow experts. All Learning Labs at the TechConference will be simulcast in a webinar-learning environment. Instructors will share all visuals and take questions from onsite participants and online attendees.

TechConference and XTech are presented in a hybrid format. Face-to-face educational and networking experiences are available for those wishing to attend in person. For those unable to attend, Learning Labs will be accessed real-time over the Internet or as recordings from the IDEAlliance website after the conclusion of TechWeek.

A simultaneous Premedia Technology Expo at the Embassy Suites lets attendees experience first-hand leading premedia tools and technologies. Attendees are also invited to participate in a large-format and specialty imaging exhibition, where they can share their expertise and show off their capabilities.
