Mamata Celebrates Installation of 100th Machine in US

 

MONTGOMERY, IL | Mamata, global supplier of bagmaking and pouchmaking machines, recently celebrated the installation of its100th machine installation in the US. The 48-in. split draw roll universal bag machine was installed this past April at Diamond Flexibles, Northbrook, IL. 

Diamond bought the machine, its fourth from Mamata, to add value to its poly bag converting division. It is capable of making side seal, bottom seal, and twin seal bags, runs two printed bags at same time, and reportedly has the capability of making quick changeovers from side seal to bottom seal to twin seal jobs.

To celebrate the installation, Mamata invited the Diamond Flexibles team and representatives from the media, including PFFC, to a dinner on July 22, 2013, where Diamond Flexibles president Howard Diamond, received a Citation of Appreciation and a memento for his support of Mamata.

Mamata team members were also recognized with Certificates of Appreciation for their dedication and efforts put in to achieve this landmark.

Also announced at the dinner was the move of Sanjay Amin, manager-exports at Mamata, from the India to the US office in Montgomery full time.
