Decorative Neckbands Spice Up Taco Sauce
FARMINGDALE, NY, USA—Seal-It Inc. has converted vividly printed neckbands for Nestlé USA's Ortega Brand Taco Sauce. The neckbands identify the heat level of each flavor by attracting the attention of consumers with high-impact shelf appeal while offering tamper-evident protection. Each neckband is printed with a different background color to identify the spiciness of the sauce. The vibrantly printed neckbands coordinate with the paper label, reportedly creating and enhancing the total image for maximum shelf appeal. The neckbands also provide consumers with assurance the product has been “quality-sealed” at the place of manufacture.

Seal-It reverse prints each neckband in three to five colors on heat-shrink PVC; the neckbands are sold in rolls for application on high-speed automatic equipment.
