A new device with a micrometer allows easy access, high-accuracy air-gap adjustment of electrode assemblies on the firm's corona-treating stations. The operator can precisely set air-gap dimension at both ends of the electrode assembly and then lock-in that setting. This ensures a uniform gap across the web for highly consistent treatment over the web's entire surface.
