MILFORD, OH, USA—The recently acquired Comco div. of Mark Andy announces it will host its next educator seminar series on November 7 and 8. Held at the Advanced Training & Technology Center just outside of Cincinnati, the two-day "Flexo Feast" will educate packaging buyers, printers, and converters about the diverse range of narrow web flexo applications.
This season's program, says the co., will focus on management strategies and new technologies for expanding opportunities in the folding-carton and flexible-packaging markets.
"Our objective...is to present practical information on every step of the flexo process, from prepress to finishing," explains Wes Harrington, Mark Andy's director of packaging equipment sales. "We offer a unique opportunity, in a highly condensed format, for printers to explore market trends, new technology, and ways to provide more services from one printing platform." According to the co., Comco's last educator seminar (held last May) drew over 350 industry participants from 68 companies in 14 countries.
Highlights for the upcoming seminar include:
