ATLANTA, GA—The TAPPI Boot Camp and RFID Symposium, to be held in partnership with RFID4U June 6-8, 2006, will explore the latest developments in RFID applications for the pulp, paper, packaging, and converting industries. The one-day boot camp is a pre-symposium workshop for those new to RFID and will focus on the fundamentals of the RFID ecosystems. The two-day symposium has two tracks—one for paper industry personnel and one for converting industry personnel. Both events will be held at the Marriott Marquis in Atlanta, GA, and will feature speakers and instructors from the U.S. Dept. of Defense, Microsoft Corp., Texas Instruments, DHL Express, International Paper, Philips, Omron, Impinj, Intermec Technologies, Q.E.D. Systems, and more.
