ROTOCONTROL and EMT Combine Forces

LINAU, GERMANY | ROTOCONTROL, a manufacturer of label slitter/rewinder inspection and finishing machines, announced a merger that will combine forces with EMT International, headquartered near Green Bay, WI, a manufacturer of custom and standardized finishing equipment and accessories for narrow and wider web digital and conventional print.

Marco Aengenvoort, managing director of ROTOCONTROL, says, "Combining forces with EMT International brings many advantages for both companies in synergizing sales, service, engineering, and global reach. EMT brings years of expertise in manufacturing advanced finishing equipment and accessories that incorporate lean manufacturing processes. With EMT, ROTOCONTROL can increase capacity, reduce lead times, and broaden our reach in the North American market."

"ROTOCONTROL has built world-wide recognition as a successful brand of finishing machines in the narrow web industry," says Scott Kettler, president of EMT International. "They are known for engineering high quality standard machines and highly customized finishing solutions to accommodate customer requirements, which parallels the sales philosophy of EMT International. Bringing together advanced finishing products, engineering strengths, market experience and the latest in advanced manufacturing will bring value to printers on a global scale."

In the agreement with EMT, the design and manufacturing of ROTOCONTROL finishing machines will continue at ROTOCONTROL headquarters in Linau, Germany, while shared production with EMT is planned for early Q3. Sales and service of ROTOCONTROL machines will remain available from Linau headquarters and ROTOCONTROL's network of agents. The addition of EMT sales and 24/7 service from its headquarters in Wisconsin will enhance ROTOCONTROL support in North America.

Paul Rauscher, owner of EMT International, Scott Kettler, and Marco Aengenvoort now form the board of directors for ROTOCONTROL.
