AWA Offers Report and Workshop

AMSTERDAM, THE NETHERLANDS | The worldwide market for glue-applied labels is the subject of a new market study from AWA Alexander Watson Assoc. The Global Glue Applied Label Market and Technology Review 2011 provides an in-depth update of market and material data for this leading labeling format.

The report is recommended for label converters, companies that laminate, material suppliers, and users in evaluating current status, threats, and future opportunities in this leading labeling market. It examines the market structure and value chain; market segmentation by end-use, geographies, and material choice; and evaluates in depth the world’s four main regions: Europe, North Americas, Asia Pacific, and South America.

AWA, in cooperation with Chemsultants Intl., also offers Introduction to Pressure-Sensitive/Self-Adhesive Technology Workshop 2012. Scheduled for November 5–6 at the Hotel Casa 400 in Amsterdam, the workshop is designed to introduce participants to the basics of self-adhesive products, including their design, manufacture, and end-use.

A broad range of topics will be covered, from market trends to “why self-adhesives work,” and AWA says the event will provide the essential knowledge and information in design, manufacture, testing, and end-use performance of the self-adhesives used in the tape and label industry.
