KUNSHAN, CHINA | Chesapeake Corp., a supplier of value-added specialty paperboard, plastic, and pharmaceutical packaging, had dedicated its new pharmaceutical paperboard packaging in Kunshan, China.

The new plant joins Chesapeake's global network of plants supplying pharmaceutical companies, offers design services, and houses equipment for digital platemaking, digital label printing, high-gloss varnishing, foil stamping, and laminating. This new 36,000-sq.-ft. facility complements Chesapeake's existing plant in Kunshan, which manufacturers plastic bottles for the pharmaceutical market, by adding production of paper-based packaging for domestic and multinational customers.
