Glenroy Wins Silver Award from FPA

MENOMONEE FALLS, WI | Glenroy Inc. has been recognized by the Flexible Packaging Assn. with a Silver Flexible Packaging Achievement Award.

The Flexible Packaging Achievement Award was earned in the category of Printing and Shelf Appeal for Petsmile Pet Toothpaste.

According to the FPA, the Printing and Shelf Appeal category recognizes "beautiful packages created through enhanced structures, graphics, and high quality printing processes for enhanced shelf appeal."

Glenroy's entry is described as a viewer-engaging sample package of beef-flavored pet toothpaste. The crisp and detailed graphic of the alert dog with a smartly worn bowtie and direct gaze creates an endearing image for the consumer to remember.

For 60 years, the FPA has conducted the Flexible Packaging Achievement Awards competition to recognize excellence and innovation in flexible packaging. Entries are judged by an independent panel of packaging experts, and this long-running competition is widely regarded as one of the most prestigious in the industry.

Stan Bikulege, chairman of FPA board of directors, Jim Costello, Glenroy director of operations, and Ken Swanson, FPA immediate past chairman.

According to Richard Buss, Glenroy Inc.'s president and CEO, "We are proud to have been recognized by the Flexible Packaging Assn. in the category of Printing and Shelf Appeal. For over 50 years, we've been focused on making our customers successful, and we continually invest in our capabilities so our customers can win at the shelf."
