NYCO Flexible Packaging Invests in New Print Facility

BERN, SWITZERLAND | Clondalkin Group company NYCO Flexible Packaging has celebrated the official opening of its latest generation printing facility. The latest investment, which is one of the company's largest to date, features a new UV flexo hybrid machine, a new printing hall, and a new slitter. Customers were given the opportunity to visit the new facility and see the equipment in operation.

Sander Kool, sales and marketing director at NYCO, said: “2013 has been a very exciting year for us. The different stages of the implementation were spread out over the year. I am very happy that the implementation program has worked out well and that we managed to continue servicing our customers during this period.

“These investments are driven by our customers and they have shown a great interest and support for our modernization plans. That is why we wanted to celebrate the completion of the project by giving them the opportunity to view the new printing hall and the latest equipment that we have installed."

Around 50 customers have visited NYCO recently to see the new setup firsthand, which underlines the great interest and commitment customers have in the ongoing development of the company.

"Many of our customers operate in the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical markets. This recent investment will ensure that we continue to provide customers with the highest quality printing technology, which is a must in their fast-paced, competitive consumer markets."
