MONTVALE, NJ, AND CHARLOTTE, NC - Bobst Group USA has entered into a partnership with ei³ Corp. to provide customers in the flexible materials business with 24/7 engineering support and productivity software. ei³, a provider of real time engineering and web-enabled data acquisition and reporting software, reportedly will enable Bobst Group customers to enhance equipment performance and uptime. ei³ will provide Tier 1 technical support, focusing primarily on large-scale printing and converting processes.
"ei³ and their network enable Bobst Group's engineers to gain full machine troubleshooting access to any machine in the world from any location in the world with the customer's permission," says Alain Jendly, VP of flexible materials for Bobst Group USA. "Also, with ei³, Bobst Group provides a number of software tools to boost machine efficiencies and operations."
In addition to 24/7 engineering support, the two companies are said to offer a suite of productivity tools, including monitoring, alarming, disaster recovery, recipe management, and downtime tracking.
