PRESS RELEASE

TORONTO, ONTARIO, CANAD—Celplast Metallized Products has developed a process for metallizing standard 48 g PET films, giving metal adhesion values that are equivalent or superior to those of chemically-treated metallized PET. All rolls run using Celplast’s SUPERMET process are certified with metal adhesion values of > 600 g/in. This film is available in both a standard and high barrier version, with the non-metal side corona treated for additional lamination bond strength. It is suited for stiff, large-format three-ply PET/met PET/PE stand-up pouch structures, where excellent bond strength is needed.
