ATP Opens Plant in Germany

WOLLERAU, SWITZERLAND | ATP has opened a production plant for water-based coatings in Mihla, Germany. 

The overall investment of €20 million euro for the site includes the construction of a production and warehousing facility with a 12,000 m² floor area together with an 860 m² office complex. The central focus point of the new factory is a new 70-m-long, state-of-the-art coating line with clean-air manufacturing that reportedly allows the company to offer adhesive tapes with high quality optical appearance.

The new production facility will create up to 50 new jobs for highly trained staff. In addition company will be offering more training places for new job starters. Every year the company offers graduates training places in various departments including the laboratory, engineering, warehousing, logistics, and customer service.

The ATP Group is an international, independent group of companies that specializes in the development, production ,and sale of technical adhesive tape systems. The company manufactures single- and double-sided adhesive tapes from a wide range of adhesives and backing materials, including self-adhesive and thermally activated adhesive products for a wide range of customers.
