Stanford Expands Presence in Latin America

PRESS RELEASE

SALEM, IL—Stanford Products LLC has established five new sales agencies in Mexico, Venezuela, Argentina, Uruguay, Peru, and Brazil.

Stanford’s growth in the Latin American marketplace is being spurred on by the success of its recently-released line of finishing equipment for the shrink sleeve market. The Seammachine Model SM-10 boasts increased speed and minimal waste, and reportedly will produce sleeves from one to 10 in. at speeds reaching 1,650 fpm.

Also part of the package is the Doctor Machine Inspector Model DM-10 and the Model 738 Slitter Rewinder. Incorporating Stanford’s oscillation technology with manual and automatic seam inspection options, the fully reversible DM-10 is said to offer operators good control and inspection of shrink sleeves. With production speeds to 1,000 fpm, the DM-10 incorporates touch screen controls with a two-motor AC Vector drive system.

The Stanford Model 738 Slitter Rewinder is a cantilevered duplex differential center winder with standard web-widths from 30 to 50 in., rewind roll diameters from 24 to 32 in., and unwind roll capabilities to 2,000 lbs.
