W&H to Showcase Its Latest Flexo Technology at Drupa with Primaflex and Novoflex Demos

LINCOLN, RI, USA — Windmoeller & Hoelscher will exhibit two new flexo presses at Drupa. W&H says the equipment will showcase the latest in flexographic press technology.

The first flexo, central impression (CI) flexo press, the Novoflex CM—a ten-color, wide-web, sleeve press with a "new and innovative sleeve-handling system"—will be demonstrated in Düsseldorf with a print width of 51 in. and a maximum repeat length of 341/2 and speed to 2,000 fpm (feet per minute). W&H says brand new features on the Novoflex include:

  • Easy-Set: W&H's automatic impression-setting system
  • Port-a-Sleeve: W&H's latest sleeve-handling system
  • ProControl TS: a Windows-based touchscreen operator control panel

The second flexo press W&H will be showing at Drupa is the Primaflex CS. "With its standard features and attractive price," explains W&H, this press nicely completes W&H's range." The Primaflex at Drupa will be running with a print width of 321/2, a maximum repeat length of 311/2, and a maximum speed of 1,000 fpm.

Also during selected dates coinciding with Drupa, W&H will be taking interested attendees to its Lengerich headquarters, where the converting equipment manufacturer will be showing its AD 8310 Bottomer and TranSystem. There, on May 11, 12, and 13, says W&H, it will stage "an important multiwall demonstration." Transportation to Lengerich and back to Düsseldorf will be arranged.
