Actega WIT and Actega Radcure to Combine Operations

LINCOLNTON, NC | Actega Coatings and Sealants, a division of Altana, announces that it is combining the operations of two of its divisions, Actega WIT and Actega Radcure.

Acetega WIT, formerly Water Ink Technologies, is a leading producer of water-based and UV flexo inks and coatings. Radcure provides UV specialty coatings and adhesives for a wide variety of converting applications. Actega WIT, based in Lincolnton, North Carolina, maintains three production facilities in North Carolina and nine branches throughout the United States and Canada. Actega Radcure has its headquarters and production facility in Wayne, New Jersey.

According to Pat Hague, Actega WIT VP of Sales, “The integration of WIT and Radcure creates a dynamic organization with a broad range of products for printers and converters. It will provide enhanced levels of service with an experienced technical group focused on technical support and market driven innovation in inks, coatings and adhesives.” Jim Wittig, President of Actega  Radcure, agrees, “These two divisions share a common focus which is high quality products, outstanding service and product innovation. Together they offer a substantial resource for our customers.” The combined operations will be called Actega WIT and it is anticipated that the process of combining the two divisions should be completed by the end of the year.
